IIM Bangalore Launches Global Centre for PEVC

Summary: On August 25, 2024, IIM Bangalore (IIM-B) signed an agreement with alumnus Mathew Cyriac to establish India’s first Global Centre of Excellence focused on Private Equity (PE) and Venture Capital (VC). The Centre, named after investment banker Tony James, aims to become a global leader in these fields by fostering research, innovation, and education. It will connect students with industry leaders, provide hands-on experience, and offer scholarships.
