Tamil Nadu inaugurated India’s first glass sea bridge, connecting the Tiruvalluvar Statue and Vivekananda Rock Memorial in Kanniyakumari, marking the 25th anniversary of the Tiruvalluvar Statue. The ₹37 crore bridge spans 77 meters and resolves prior accessibility issues caused by rough seas. The Tiruvalluvar Statue, now renamed the Statue of Wisdom, symbolizes Tamil culture and social justice, while the Vivekananda Rock Memorial honors Swami Vivekananda. This innovative project boosts tourism and enhances cultural pride in Tamil Nadu.
