The Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA) has approved major infrastructure projects worth ₹24,276 crore, focusing on Amaravati’s development. These include constructing the Legislative Assembly on 103 acres (₹765 crore) and the High Court on 42 acres (₹1,049 crore). Five iconic towers, including the 47-floor GAD Tower, will cost ₹4,688 crore. Additionally, 579.5 km of LPS roads with advanced infrastructure will be built for ₹9,699 crore. Rising construction costs, up to 49%, reflect the region’s expanding development needs.
