Visakhapatnam Port has achieved the 19th position in the Container Port Performance Index (CPPI) 2023, surpassing Mundra Port. Managed by J M Baxi Ports & Logistics, the port excels in efficiency metrics such as moves per crane per hour, turnaround times, and minimal berth idle time. This recognition aligns with the Marine India Vision 2030. Established in 1933, Visakhapatnam Port is a major port on India's east coast, handling significant cargo and serving as a naval station.
