Saudi Arabia Begins Construction of World’s Largest Building

Saudi Arabia has begun constructing the Mukaab, the world's largest building, in Riyadh as part of a billion project under Saudi Vision 2030. This monumental building will be 1,300 feet tall and 1,200 feet wide, capable of housing 20 Empire State Buildings. Featuring 104,000 residential units and 9,000 hotel rooms, it will incorporate AI technology for enhanced visitor experiences. The design reflects traditional Najdi architecture and promotes sustainability. The Mukaab aims to diversify the economy, create 334,000 jobs, and contribute over billion to non-oil GDP, with completion expected by 2030.
