Operation Sadbhavana
Operation Sadbhavana, initiated by the Indian Army in 1998, is a humanitarian mission aimed at addressing the needs of communities in Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh affected by terrorism. The operation focuses on enhancing education through Army Goodwill Schools, empowering women and youth via vocational training, improving healthcare services, and developing infrastructure in remote areas. By fostering national integration and supporting socio-economic development, Operation Sadbhavana seeks to build trust between the local populace and the Indian Army, thereby promoting peace and stability in the region.
