Network Readiness Index 2024

India has significantly improved in the Network Readiness Index (NRI) 2024, climbing to the 49th position from 60th in 2023. With a score of 53.63, it leads in areas like AI talent and ICT exports. The Digital India initiative has driven tele density to 84.69% and expanded internet access. Launching 5G in 2022 improved global mobile broadband rankings, and the Bharat 6G Vision aims to position India as a leader in next-gen telecom technologies. These advancements underscore India’s commitment to digital transformation and technological leadership.
