NASA’s Europa Clipper Mission
NASA’s Europa Clipper mission, launching on October 10, 2024, aims to explore Europa, Jupiter’s moon, for signs of extraterrestrial life. Scientists are particularly excited about Europa's possible underground ocean, which could support life. The spacecraft will take over five years to reach Europa and is equipped with nine scientific instruments to study the moon's surface, temperature, and water plumes. This mission marks a significant step in space exploration and the search for life beyond Earth, with future missions expected to continue exploring life-supporting conditions on Europa and similar moons.
