Indian Army AI Incubation Centre
The Indian Army inaugurated the Artificial Intelligence Incubation Centre (IAAIIC) in Bengaluru to advance AI-driven solutions for operational efficiency and security. In collaboration with Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), the centre focuses on predictive maintenance, surveillance, decision-making systems, and autonomous platforms. Equipped with a 1-petaflop supercomputer from CDAC, it supports research and skill development. The initiative aligns with the “Decade of Transformation,” aiming to modernize India’s defence capabilities and achieve self-reliance in military AI. The IAAIIC underscores the Army’s commitment to integrating advanced technologies to address future warfare challenges and enhance national security.
