India-Kuwait Joint Commission

India and Kuwait recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) establishing a Joint Commission for Cooperation (JCC) to strengthen bilateral ties. The JCC aims to foster collaboration in trade, technology, agriculture, culture, and more. During Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Abdullah Ali Al Yahya’s first official visit to India, he met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and discussed trade, energy, and food security. The Indian diaspora in Kuwait was also acknowledged as a crucial link. Both nations aim to elevate their relationship to a strategic partnership, highlighting shared interests and regional cooperation.
