Hybrid Agricultural Intelligence (HAI) integrates traditional farming knowledge with modern AI technologies to create sustainable solutions for Indian farmers. Agriculture, vital to India’s economy, contributes 18.2% of GDP and supports 42.3% of the population. Indigenous Technology Knowledge (ITK), vital for 80% of small farmers, helps address resource limitations and environmental challenges. Modern tools like drones and AI improve productivity but face adoption barriers for smallholders. HAI focuses on blending ITK with AI via training and collaborations, with programs like Telangana’s AI4AI improving yields and reducing costs. Partnerships between farmers, ICAR, and tech firms ensure equitable access to HAI tools.
