Hottest Day Recorded Globally
On July 21, 2023, the average temperature of Earth's surface air reached a record-high 17.09°C (62.7°F), as reported by the Copernicus Climate Change Service (C3S) of the European Union. This surpasses the previous record of 17.08°C set on July 6, 2023, and highlights a worrying trend of rising global temperatures, which have been increasing steadily over the past 13 months.
