HAL-IAF Defence Contract Overview

The Indian Defence Ministry signed a ₹13,500 crore contract with Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) for 12 Su-30MKL aircraft and related equipment. This deal enhances the Indian Air Force’s operational capabilities and strengthens national defence. Notably, 62.6% of the aircraft’s components will be domestically produced, boosting the indigenous defence sector and reducing dependency on foreign suppliers.
