EPFO Introduces ATM Withdrawals for PF Savings

The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has introduced ATM withdrawals for PF savings, revolutionizing fund access for salaried employees, retirees, and beneficiaries. Members can withdraw up to 50% of their balance for emergencies, access full amounts at retirement, or claim insurance up to ₹7 lakh. This service requires a Universal Account Number (UAN), Aadhaar, PAN linkage, and updated bank details. Integrated with platforms like Digilocker and Umang, the initiative enhances financial inclusion, simplifies withdrawals, and ensures faster claim settlements, aligning with the government’s digital and inclusive financial ecosystem goals.
