Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport became the first in India to achieve the 'Net Zero Carbon Emission Airport' status under the Airport Carbon Accreditation (ACA) programme. This milestone was reached through strategies like switching to renewable energy, promoting electric vehicles, and upgrading infrastructure, six years ahead of the 2030 target.
