Boda Tyohar Festival
The Boda Tyohar, also known as Magho ko Tyohar, is the largest annual festival celebrated by the Hatti tribes of Himachal Pradesh's Trans-Giri region. With approximately three lakh members, the Hatti community marks the entire month of Magha with vibrant festivities. Beginning on Posh Dwadashi, the festival features traditional dishes, community gatherings, cultural performances, and rituals that reinforce familial and communal bonds. Highlights include Bodhto, Bhatioj, Saje ka Duna, and the grand Khoda festival. The Hatti community, declared a Scheduled Tribe in 2023, celebrates its rich heritage and traditions, showcasing its unique cultural identity and unity.
