Ashraya Farmer Service Centres

Kerala's Agriculture Department launched ‘Ashraya’ farmer service centres to provide digital services and enhance agricultural efficiency. These centres integrate with the ‘Kathir’ app, consolidating resources like crop procurement, registration on the Agriculture Information Management System (AIMS), and services under the Sub Mission on Agricultural Mechanisation (SMAM). Managed by Krishikootam collectives, Ashraya centres aim to serve small and marginal farmers, with one centre planned for each Krishi Bhavan area. The initiative ensures affordability with service fees aligned with Akshaya centres and focuses on empowering farmers with accessible digital tools.
