What is trust?
- Trust can be understood as our firm belief in an idea, a person or a thing.
- Infants trust their parents while learning to walk for the first time. Family members trust each other with their day to day problems. Neighbours trust each other when the lights go off.
- People trust their new residence would bring them comfort while purchasing it. They trust their workplace to be fair when it comes to appraisals. They trust their colleagues to be fair.
- Consumers trust their chefs and waiters. Today, we take our food supply chain- once notorious for its poor standards and unreliability- for granted.
Why is it important?
- Trust is the fulcrum around which people’s lives revolve.
- Trust acts as the glue f
