BEML Ltd has introduced the BD475-2 Dozer, India’s largest and most advanced crawler dozer, reflecting significant progress in indigenous manufacturing under Aatma Nirbhar Bharat. Equipped with a 950 HP Cummins engine meeting EPA Tier-II standards, it is designed for heavy-duty mining tasks. Developed entirely in-house at Kolar Gold Fields, the dozer features advanced technologies such as a planetary power shift transmission and a semi-U blade. With an operator-focused cabin and eco-friendly attributes, it aligns with sustainability goals. The BD475-2 is poised to compete in both domestic and global markets, enhancing India's industrial capabilities.
