Recent Developments:

• Recently, the Air Chiefs of several Nordic countries- Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden- agreed to bring their air defences together to counter the threat from Russia.
• These 4 countries together have some 300 fighter aircrafts.
• The goal of the agreement is to integrate and eventually function as one force.
