Upcoming National Surveys in India 2025
The Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation (MoSPI) has announced a series of significant surveys for 2025, focusing on health, telecommunications, education, and labour dynamics. Conducted by the National Statistics Office (NSO), these include the NSS 80th Round, Periodic Labour Force Survey (PLFS), and the Annual Survey on Unincorporated Enterprises (ASUSE). Updated sampling techniques will generate district-level estimates. The surveys use e-SIGMA software for real-time data collection. State governments will collaborate to ensure local relevance, providing critical socio-economic insights for policymaking, especially in employment and unincorporated sectors.
