UK-India Technology Security Initiative (TSI)

The UK and India have launched the Technology Security Initiative (TSI) to strengthen their strategic partnership and focus on the role of technology in national security and economic growth. The initiative involves a two-way system managed by the National Security Advisors of both countries to address trade issues in critical and emerging technologies. Key areas of collaboration include telecoms, critical minerals, semiconductors, AI, quantum technologies, biotechnology, healthtech, and advanced materials. This proactive step aims to enhance bilateral cooperation, promote innovation, and ensure ethical use of technologies, aligning with the India-UK Roadmap 2030.
