PSLV-C60/SPADEX Mission
The PSLV-C60/SPADEX mission by ISRO, set to launch on December 30, 2024, from Sriharikota, aims to demonstrate in-space docking technology. It involves two small spacecraft, SDX01 (Chaser) and SDX02 (Target), testing docking, undocking, and power transfer in low-Earth orbit. This mission is crucial for future lunar explorations and the development of India’s proposed Bharatiya Antariksh Station (BAS). Indigenous technologies, developed at the UR Rao Satellite Centre and integrated by Ananth Technologies, underline India's advancing space capabilities. PSLV-C60 marks a step forward in India's ambitions for space station operations and long-term space exploration missions.
