Major Infrastructure Projects Launched in Delhi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated major infrastructure projects in Delhi worth ₹12,200 crore, including the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut Namo Bharat corridor and the Janakpuri-Krishna Park section of Delhi Metro Phase-IV. The Namo Bharat corridor aims to provide high-speed travel, easing congestion and reducing travel time. The Delhi Metro expansion adds 2.8 km, bringing the network to 394.448 km. The foundation for the 26.5 km Rithala-Kundli corridor was also laid to improve regional connectivity. These projects aim to enhance transportation, reduce travel challenges, and support India’s economic and urban growth aspirations.
