ISRO’s 100th Mission

ISRO will launch its 100th mission in January 2025 using the GSLV Mk-II rocket, marking a significant milestone. This mission, GSLV-F15/NVS-02, will deploy the NVS-02 satellite, part of the second generation of the Navigation with Indian Constellation (NavIC) system. NavIC, India’s indigenous satellite navigation system, aims to enhance positioning accuracy for strategic and civilian applications. The satellite will feature advanced navigation and ranging payloads, including Rubidium atomic clocks for precise timekeeping. ISRO’s experimental projects, SpaDex and POEM-4, from its 99th mission, continue advancing India’s space capabilities. The mission reflects ISRO’s commitment to space technology and national security.
