India Launches First AI Lab in Space
TakeMe2Space, a Hyderabad-based company, is set to launch India's first AI lab in space, MOI-TD, using ISRO's PSLV C60 rocket. Scheduled for mid-December 2024, the mission aims to enhance satellite data processing by reducing delays and costs through real-time in-orbit analysis. Supported by IN-SPACe, MOI-TD integrates AI accelerators and autonomous computing for applications such as environmental monitoring and maritime activity tracking. The OrbitLab platform facilitates user interaction, fostering innovation. MOI-TD also lays the groundwork for space-based data centers, marking a step toward sustainable and efficient space research solutions.
