India-Indonesia Business Chamber Relaunches
The India-Indonesia Business Chamber has been relaunched in Jakarta, marking a significant step in strengthening economic ties between the two nations. Originally established in 1977 but inactive due to the pandemic, the chamber now aims to support growing business relations within the framework of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. With a combined GDP of trillion and a population of 1.7 billion, both countries are focusing on sustainable development and increasing bilateral trade, targeting billion by 2025. The event, hosted by the Embassy of India and supported by IndCham, also highlighted the importance of making business easier and fostering innovation.
