Hindalco Tops Global Sustainability Rankings Again
Hindalco Industries Limited was named the most sustainable aluminium company globally for the fifth consecutive year in the 2024 S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) rankings. With an impressive score of 87 points, Hindalco outperformed its competitors by 22 points, showcasing leadership in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) standards. Notable achievements include a 19.54% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions, 85% operational waste recycling in FY24, and significant investments in community welfare. Recognised at COP28 for its renewable energy initiatives, Hindalco sets benchmarks in sustainability while aiming for further advancements in waste management and energy efficiency.
