Recently, the Competition Commission of India imposed a Rs 936.44 crore penalty on Google for misusing its dominant position through its Play Store policies. This follows the commission’s move to impose another penalty of Rs 1,337.76 crore on the tech giant for abusing its position in the Android ecosystem.
