Eco-Creativity & Innovation Hackathon

The Eco-Creativity & Innovation Hackathon, hosted by India’s Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change, aligns with Mission LiFE to promote sustainable living. Using the Code Mitra platform, the hackathon attracted 411,711 participants from 14 states, including Punjab and Andhra Pradesh. Over 190,000 innovative solutions for environmental challenges were submitted, with 35 standout projects showcased. Awards recognised top ideas, supportive teachers, and state-level agencies. Officials highlighted the need for mindful resource use and the role of Mission LiFE Eco-clubs in fostering environmental awareness. This event showcased youth engagement and technological solutions to advance sustainability in India.
