Eastern Bridge VII Exercise
Exercise Eastern Bridge VII, a joint military exercise between the Indian Air Force (IAF) and the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO), recently concluded at the RAFO airbase in Masirah, Oman. The exercise aimed to enhance military cooperation, with both air forces engaging in air-to-air combat drills, coordinated operations, and innovative mission scenarios using MiG-29, Jaguar (IAF), F-16, and Hawk (RAFO) aircraft. This collaboration strengthens India-Oman's military readiness and commitment to regional peace. The IAF, established in 1932, is the fourth-largest air force, while RAFO, founded in 1959, is one of the oldest in the Middle East.
