Desert Knight Exercise
The "Desert Knight" trilateral air combat exercise, involving India, France, and the UAE, is being conducted over the Arabian Sea, focusing on enhancing interoperability and defense cooperation. The Indian Air Force deployed Sukhoi-30MKIs, Jaguars, IL-78 refuelers, and AEW&C systems from Jamnagar, while France contributed Rafale jets, and the UAE employed F-16 fighters from Al Dhafra airbase. The exercise emphasizes realistic combat scenarios, tactical sharing, and regional security, particularly in the Indo-Pacific and Persian Gulf regions.
