BRICS Literature Forum 2024

The BRICS Literature Forum 2024, held in Kazan, Russia, from September 11, gathered literary figures from Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa under the theme "World literature in the new reality." Representing India, Sri Madhav Kaushik and Dr. K. Sreenivasarao emphasized the role of literature in uniting diverse cultures. The "Volga to Ganga" session highlighted the significance of river-based multicultural traditions. Established in 2016, the forum promotes literary exchange, translation, and the development of young writers, aiming to strengthen BRICS cultural ties and foster global appreciation of their literary heritage.
