AI Catalysts – Empowering India’s Future
India is advancing as an AI-first nation through a partnership between IndiaAI and Microsoft, aiming to train 500,000 individuals in AI by 2026. The initiative, aligned with the India AI Mission, focuses on innovation, responsible AI practices, and ecosystem development. Key components include the establishment of AI Catalysts for rural innovation, AI Productivity Labs in 20 training institutes, and support for 1,000 AI startups via Microsoft’s Founders Hub. The collaboration prioritises Indic language models, dataset development, and ethical AI standards. It aims to empower underserved communities, foster economic growth, and position India as a global leader in AI technology.
