GEAPP, ISA Multi-Donor Trust Fund

The Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet (GEAPP) and the International Solar Alliance (ISA) have collaborated to launch a 0 million Multi-Donor Trust Fund for solar energy projects in India. The fund supports initiatives such as DUET (Digitalization of Utilities for Energy Transition) and ENTICE 2.0 (Energy Transitions Innovation Challenge) to enhance grid systems and promote innovation. GEAPP has committed 4 million to global energy projects since 2021, benefiting millions while reducing emissions. Additionally, India’s first commercial Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) project aims to provide affordable power to underserved communities, marking progress in the nation’s renewable energy goals.
