Tamil Nadu Oil Spill Contingency Plan

Tamil Nadu finalized a comprehensive oil spill contingency plan in response to a January 2024 spill. The plan targets high-risk districts like Ramanathapuram and Thoothukudi and focuses on protecting ecologically sensitive areas such as the Gulf of Mannar.
