Global Bio-India 2024 Summit
The fourth edition of Global Bio-India 2024 was held from September 12-14 in New Delhi, showcasing India's biotechnology strengths. Organized by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT) and BIRAC, it attracted over 500 exhibitors and 20,000 attendees. The event, themed ‘Biotech Innovation’ and ‘Bio-manufacturing,’ saw 11 new biotech products launched, highlighting India's role in bioeconomy growth. Key initiatives like the i4 (Innovation for Industry) and PACE (Promoting Academic Collaboration and Entrepreneurship) were announced. Partnerships were formed, such as between the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation and IPE Global. This summit reinforced India's position as a leader in biotechnology and innovation.
