Nambike Nakshe Scheme
The ‘Nambike Nakshe’ scheme, introduced by Bengaluru’s Deputy CM D.K. Shivakumar, simplifies the building approval process for property owners. It allows provisional approvals for buildings up to 4,000 square feet from authorized architects or engineers, speeding up the planning and construction process. Currently being tested in two zones, the scheme aims to reduce bureaucratic hurdles and ensure compliance through BBMP inspections. Initially launched in 2020 to digitize land records, the scheme enhances land management and urban planning in Karnataka.
