Google DeepMind’s "Morni" project focuses on developing AI to support 125 Indian languages, aiming to make AI more accessible in India's linguistically diverse landscape. With Project Vaani, DeepMind is collaborating with the Indian Institute of Science and ARTPARK to collect speech data, targeting underserved languages where digital resources are scarce.
