India aims for $30 Trillion Economy by 2047
India aims to transform into a USD 30 trillion economy by 2047, the 100th anniversary of its independence, as outlined in NITI Aayog's ‘Vision for Viksit Bharat @ 2047’. This ambitious plan requires the economy to grow nine times larger and the average income per person to increase from USD 2,392 to USD 18,000. Achieving this goal demands a consistent annual growth rate of 7-10% for the next 20-30 years. The plan emphasizes collective national efforts, improving manufacturing and logistics, reducing the rural-urban income gap, and focusing on smart urban planning and renewable energy. Achieving this vision will position India as a leading global economy and significantly enhance its economic and social landscape.
