EPFO Introduces Auto-Mode for Education, Marriage Claims
The Employees' Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) has launched an auto-mode settlement system for education, marriage, and housing claims. This automated process aims to streamline claim handling, reduce manual intervention, and accelerate processing times to just 3-4 days. By increasing the maximum claim amount to Rs. 100,000 and ensuring compliance with KYC and bank validations, EPFO enhances efficiency and accessibility for its members. This new system is expected to facilitate quicker access to funds for important life events, though it relies heavily on accurate data and smooth technical operations.
