9th International Conference on Waste to Worth
The 9th International Conference on Waste to Worth showcased India's commitment to sustainability through advanced waste management and recycling technologies. Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav emphasized waste as a resource and the need for a skilled workforce. Key government initiatives like the National Circular Economy Framework (NCEF) and rules for managing plastic, e-waste, and construction waste were highlighted. The conference also addressed grassroots innovations, decarbonization efforts, and net-zero goals. With over 300 participants, the event launched the second NCEF edition and honored sustainable companies through the CII 4R Awards, reinforcing India’s global leadership in circular economy practices.
