KAIST High-Power Fast-Charging Sodium-Ion Battery
Researchers at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) have developed a new sodium-ion battery that can charge in just a few seconds. This high-energy, high-power hybrid battery integrates anode materials typical for batteries with cathodes suitable for supercapacitors, allowing it to achieve rapid charge-discharge rates and high storage capacities.
