Project VISTAAR
Project VISTAAR (Virtually Integrated System to Access Agricultural Resources) is a collaborative initiative by IIT Madras and the Ministry of Agriculture to digitalise and enhance India's agricultural extension system. It integrates digital tools and start-up innovations to connect farmers with vital resources, improving productivity and sustainability. The project includes data on 12,000+ agricultural start-ups, providing farmers access to cutting-edge solutions for crop management, market information, and government schemes. By leveraging digitalisation and partnerships, Project VISTAAR aims to revolutionise agricultural practices, ensuring efficiency, sustainability, and economic growth in the sector.
