India Ranks 49th in Network Readiness Index (NRI) 2024
India achieved 49th place in the 2024 Network Readiness Index (NRI), improving by 11 positions from the previous year. The index, published by the Portulans Institute, evaluates technology utilization in governance and citizen engagement. India’s score rose from 49.93 to 53.63, highlighting advancements in artificial intelligence, mobile networks, and broadband connectivity.
