Gujarat’s First Semiconductor Assembly Plant

Suchi Semicon inaugurated Gujarat’s first Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Testing (OSAT) plant in Surat, marking a significant milestone in India’s semiconductor manufacturing. Spanning 30,000 square feet, the plant supports industries like automotive and consumer electronics. Backed by 0 million in investment, it aims to produce up to 3 million chips daily and create 1,200 jobs within five years. This aligns with the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative and Gujarat’s Electronic Policy, promoting self-reliance and economic growth. With cleanroom environments and advanced facilities, the plant underscores India’s growing role in the global semiconductor supply chain.
