22nd Divya Kala Mela
The 22nd Divya Kala Mela will be held from December 12–22, 2024, at India Gate, New Delhi. Organized by the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPwD), the festival showcases the creativity of Divyang artisans and entrepreneurs. Around 100 participants from 20 states and union territories will present a range of products, including handicrafts, eco-friendly goods, jewelry, and organic foods. The event also features cultural performances by Divyang artists, culminating in the Divya Kala Shakti finale themed "Ability in Disability." Promoting economic empowerment, inclusivity, and the Vocal for Local initiative, the mela emphasizes self-reliance for persons with disabilities.
