India Skills Report 2025
The India Skills Report 2025, released by Wheebox and partners, highlights Kerala’s 71% employability rate, ranking it fifth among Indian states. Kerala excels in employability for individuals aged 22–25 (87.47%) and experienced professionals aged 26–29 (68.82%). The state ranks third in female employability and demonstrates high interest in internships. Kerala leads in English proficiency (59.72%) and numerical aptitude (58.90%), with 37.34% of its workforce being tech-ready. Initiatives like the Additional Skill Acquisition Programme (ASAP) play a critical role in enhancing employability, reflecting Kerala’s focus on skill development and readiness for a digital economy.
