13th UNGGIM Asia-Pacific Meeting

India hosted the 13th UNGGIM Asia-Pacific Meeting at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, focusing on “Geo-enabling the Data Economy for Sustainable Development.” Organized by the Survey of India (SOI), the four-day event featured 91 international and 120 Indian delegates discussing geospatial data’s role in land management and sustainable development. Workshops on GNSS-CORS and IGIF implementation highlighted innovations in data precision and management. The event fostered collaboration among nations to address regional challenges and advance geospatial technologies, critical for sustainable development and economic growth.
