Dubai ranked 5th in the 2024 Global City Index, becoming the highest-ranked city in West Asia and Africa. This achievement, noted in the Brand Finance report, reflects strong economic performance and robust trade initiatives. The city, led by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, credits its success to innovation and strategic governance. Dubai’s infrastructure, tourism, and improved work opportunities have positioned it ahead of major global cities like Singapore.
